From the first day at work to the end of the apprenticeship. LEHRWERK – Structure for in-company training in Switzerland.
LEHRWERK is the part of the apprenticeship no textbook covers: task, record, feedback, portfolio. Company and apprentice see the same path.
- First day at work
- Practice
- EFZ + portfolio

No company wants an apprentice just tagging along.
And yet it happens. The job is urgent, the customer is waiting, the conversation slips to next week. By Friday, nobody quite remembers what the apprentice learnt in those five days. Least of all the apprentice.
Three years pass quickly. Whatever isn’t shown, practised and said in that time, nobody catches up on later.

Instead of “tag along and watch”.
Practical training often happens on the side. LEHRWERK turns it into a path on which three questions are answered at any time.

Learnt
What the apprentice can already do. Written down, not reconstructed from memory.

Practising
What is being worked on right now. With tasks from the company, not from a textbook.

Next step
What comes next. Visible to both sides before anyone has to ask.

One thread, two perspectives.
The training company leads, the apprentice works. Both look at the same thing – just through different eyes.

- Tasks
- In the company
Real jobs from daily work, not made-up practice cases.
- For the apprentice
They know what to do – and what good work is measured against.
- Feedback
- In the company
A short response once the work is done. One sentence is enough.
- For the apprentice
They hear what was good and what’s still missing. Not just at the year-end review.
- Records
- In the company
What was practised and shown stays on record.
- For the apprentice
Their work adds up – piece by piece into a portfolio.
Signing in without the email fuss.
The company hands over a login card; the apprentice scans it or types in the numbers. No email address, no confirmation link – the card is enough.
For apprentices
The login card
Username and password are printed on the card; the QR code leads to the sign-in page. Losing it is allowed: the company issues a new one in a minute.
For companies
The sign-in page
Sign in with a user number or email, in plain language. One page, two fields – nothing more is needed.
At the end there’s more than a diploma.
Three or four years of work become a training portfolio: topics, records, feedback. It shows what stands behind the Swiss Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (EFZ) – at the first job interview and long after.
«Every apprentice deserves an apprenticeship they can look back on with pride.»

What LEHRWERK is not.
- Not a school platform
- Not an ERP
- Not time tracking
- Not a monitoring tool
- No grades, no leaderboard
LEHRWERK replaces neither the trainer nor hands-on practice. It gives both a form that holds.
See it in your trade.
No recorded tour, no slide conversation. A person shows you LEHRWERK with an example from your trade – and you decide whether it fits your company.
- What you see
- The interface with a topic from your trade. Task, evidence, feedback – not a generic presentation.
- How long
- Thirty minutes. By video, or on site if the journey is worth it.
- What’s already ready
- The message is already there. “Request” opens your mail app – you only add the trade and the number of apprentices.

If your apprentice matters to you, all that’s missing is the structure.
You show, explain and correct every day. LEHRWERK keeps hold of what comes out of that and turns it into a path – for you and for your apprentice.
A company with one apprentice pays nothing in the first year of the apprenticeship, then CHF 150.– per year. With two or three apprentices it’s CHF 290.–, excl. VAT.
No subscription. One invoice per year. See pricing
